This is an image of an old boat engine taken in the summer of 2004 at Cowichan Bay, BC, Canada.
“Cow Bay” is a small fishing village on Vancouver Island that has become a bit of a tourist spot. As I was walking in front of a boathouse there were a number of old antique boat engines sitting outside. I was attracted to the contrast between the white gauge face and the black engine block.
This image is available as a 2.5d print. This is a special process that gives the image actual depth. You can literally feel the image.
